I also have 3 doelings for sale: Jill (Jack's sister) (born 4/12), Hermione (Harry's sister) (born 4/19), and Belladonna (a singleton) (born 4/17).
If any of you packgoat breeders are looking to expand your genetics with a new doe, you won't find anything better than Jill. She's out of my best packgoat producer, Sadie. Sadie is the "Big, Black Buick" of my herd and she consistently produces outstanding packgoats no matter what she's crossed with. Sadie has long, correct legs, strong hooves, a beautiful straight back, prominent withers, and just overall amazing packgoat conformation, which she consistently passes along to her kids. And did I mention she's huge? Jill carries all of these qualities, along with an extra dose of "long and tall" from her registered Alpine father. This gal has outstanding genetics and will produce big, strong, beautiful boys one day. Jill is 3/4 Alpine, 1/4 Nubian but favors the Alpine. She's sweet but not obnoxious. All of Sadie's kids tend to have very kind, even-keeled personalities. I haven't weighed Jill, but her brother Jack was almost 30 lbs. at 4 weeks!
The next gal available is Harry's sister Hermione. Hermione is the smallest kid this year, but she packs a lot of "goat" into a small body! Hermione has a long, slim build with very correct conformation and a great deal of athleticism. She is also extremely outgoing! Hermione is from my Ziggy line, which is the most athletic in my herd. Ziggy and her daughters are the only females that can jump on top of the goat houses. Hermione's dam, McGonagall, is the tallest and most athletic in my Ziggy line. They are all descended from my star packgoat, Finn. Hermione is also a granddaughter of my outstanding buck, Pest. Hermione comes from a strong line of excellent milkers with high, tight udders and some of the best milk I've ever tasted. Hermione is about 7/8 Swiss (Alpine + Ober, Saanen). I'm sorry for the lousy photos. She's so active and "in-my-face" I couldn't get a decent photo of her!
Belladonna (or Bella) is a stunning combination of size and good looks. She's larger and more substantially built than Hermione, but more compact than Jill. Bella is our most outgoing kid this year and would rather be with people than with other goats. She's very rough-and-tumble and will knock everyone else out of the way to get on your lap! She's a gorgeous tri-color out of my beautiful doe, Molly. Molly is a Pest x Snowball daughter who exemplifies the nicest qualities of both her outstanding parents. I've been incredibly pleased with the Snowball line as it consistently produces very easy-going, gentle goats with good conformation, beautiful colors, and very nice udders on the girls. The boys from this line are always good, easy-going packers with low-maintenance hooves and low-maintenance personalities. Bella should produce some really nice kids in a variety of fun colors.
