Back in the saddle?

I used to go there a couple times a month back in the early 80's.  I doubt anyone remembers me... or at least I hope they don't and that the statute of limitations has expired. ;P

I thought the opposite of Blanding was tastey-tinkle.  I'm not sure that would attract attention. Let the Indians build a casino nearby and property values will increase.  Though there is not a large population anywhere nearby to support it.  Las Vegas used to be 5 hours from LA.   They moved it closer. You can get there in three now.

There's the answer.. Move Blanding closer to St. George and build a casino.

Most of my Indian friends don't mind being called Indians... as long as they are allowed to build casinos. Herb, aren't you part Indian?

While the Lake is still low I'd like to find some guy off the street who is walking around dribbling on himself to join me in a trip from Hite Crossing (or Hall's) to the dam.  He'd have to be crazy to want to join me on a drift, paddle, sail trip like that. Sound fun?  ;P

I had an old Hobie cat.  I used to lash a canoe between the pontoons to carry bigger loads. I would probably want to rig the mast for spinnaker only to let the wind push me down the canyon. Camp or paddle when the wind shifted the other way. Maybe a trolling motor.

I'd probably get a newer vintage for the trip. Those new Hobie trimarans look great but they are $9,000.
