Aha, no wonder Legion is so big! Django is still light and smallish. I always thought that after a year they shouldn't get any alfalfa. Well, we'll see what happens. They did end up eating it yesterday.

What I have heard from several packers is that their general rule of thumb is to supplement with Alfalfa & or grain in appropriate rations until 3-5.5 years and then again after 8 years old.
