Pongo's first hike!

Sadly, Finn is not still alive and well. This post was from 2023. We lost Finn in July 2024. He lost his place at the top of the herd and with it he lost his purpose in life. He just kind of wasted away in the space of a few months. There was nothing wrong with him other than he just quit wanting to live. I'm pretty sure he developed stomach ulcers from the stress, and those are notoriously difficult to diagnose or treat in ruminants.

Pongo is a big boy now. He just turned 3 years old at the end of February. He's my famous Salvation Army bell ringer!
