I agree—we boned out some meat in the field for the first time this fall and weren’t satisfied with the results. It was too wet and didn’t dry in the game bags like whole quarters do. Processing was harder too. We bought a big sled from Cabela’s, and I’m considering teaching the boys to pull it. I also read in one of Carolyn Eddy’s books about training them to pull a travois, and apparently they can handle three times their weight. If snow arrives soon, I’ll have to test their strength! kolkata fatafat
