I usually buy unsalted but it doesn't matter if they're salted. They're given as treats - not as a food source - so the amount of salt is negligible.

Thanks for this post Nano. Our boy Evidence came up lame tonight his foot looks the same as Delilah's and is hot to the touch. Hoping for the same progression of healing. Glad to have the pine tar treatment as a backup plan.
