That sounds like a great plan! Boning out meat in the field definitely has its challenges, especially when it comes to drying and handling. Using a sled or even experimenting with a travois sounds like a smart and practical solution. It’ll be interesting to see how well it works once the snow hits — keep us posted on the results.

Has anyone actually attempted to build or use a rickshaw-style cart with their goat for hauling? I'd be very curious to see photos or hear about the design challenges.
