Monday I took 5 of my goats for a walk to the Columbia River from our farm. The water was low enough we could walk the edge of the river. It was a beautiful fall day. I took the 3 wethers plus my 2 does. The goats enjoyed browsing on the willows and elms growing along the river. Here are a couple of photos of the glassy Columbia. It's deceiving because there is an extremely fast current.

Here are some photos of the goats walking and browsing along the river. Banjo used the cement block he's standing on to reach the elm tree.

On the way back home we walked along the edge of a couple of our hay fields. The goats loved munching on the grass and alfalfa.
