I am going to be wanting an Akbash or Anatolian pup this year, after I get moved from MI which will be late summer. These are the two guardian breeds that I have the most experience with, have been on one buying trip to Turkey with friends from Israel. He/she will partner with my English Shepherd pup.
I doNOT want a spoiled rescue from someone who didnt have a clue, maybe in a year when better situated I can rehome a rescue for a time. But for now I am wanting a pup to start from scratch.
