New tent from Eureka

Eureka announced that they are coming out with a 3 season tent for back packers this summer, it was noted in the Army Times as one being evaluated for infanty units. I have had several Eureka Tents and they are built well and last, I am interested in it. Its said to weigh 8 lbs, which is heavier then other small tents, but I am waiting to see what it offers.

I also like the assault 4 model for season tent. The goats will be carrying mine so I like the four person model. This gives me room for all my gear and saddles and panniers. Keeps everything dry and goat proof. They like to stick their noses into panniers.

This is a two man tent, has an anteroom, sit up space, it does cost but is mil specs so it should last. Google Eureka for their writeup on it, sounds interesting, for myself, I want stand up space, enough getting dressed sitting down. What caught my attention is the mil specs, not a chinese made one.
