Can you use an emasculator on a two year old buck?

Just wondering if this is a possible option for wethering an older buck. Thanks!

Is that the same as a burdizzo? If so, I dont see why not. It would just be a matter of finding one big enough.

Yes, it is the same thing. Would one for a bull calf size work?

A goat needs sedated to humanely use a burdizzo. Ask your vet's advice on what will work safely and successfully.

Emasculator is different then a burdizzo. A post came up on the goat spot this morning and they showed a picture. It crushes and cuts. A shame you are not close by. Our vet Matt is pretty damn good at it Smile

Thanks, sorry I had the wrong word Smile. It is a burdizzo style (and bloodless) that we have and can get one sized for calves if needed... What would be recommended? We have had great success in the last three years in using our tool. We have wethered at three months (I let people know that it is best to wait until five months, but sometimes they want them sooner Smile) and the biggest boy we have used this on was 80#s.
