White Christmas?

If we get snow it normally doesn't last.  This year has been an exception.  With predicted temperatures of a high of 30* for the next week and lows at 0* we may still have snow at Christmas!  This is a picture of the top of our hot tub this morning after our snowfall last night.

As long as the roads are clear I'm okay with that. Driving over to the Tri-Cities Christmas eve and then back again Christmas day.

Lucky! It's 60* out here today and hardly anything in the forecast. We're so tired of the dry weather!

It's very rare to have snow last this long. Usually it snows and the Chinook winds melt it. No Chinook winds in our forecast so far! My goats have a single trail from their huts to the feeders to the water trough. They must turn around and repeat the trail because there aren't any other tracks showing. We may finally get some melting on Monday when it's forecast to reach 42*.
