Hello Nanno
Good one and truthful.
In my case I will not claim to "yet" having to reach into a goats mouth. But have worked in a horses mouth several times up to my wrist. Horses also have a very good set of "Choppers" I do use a restraint device.
If the procedure is "Short" with a horse reach in grab their tongue and pull it out the side of their mouth were their choppers are they will not bite their own tongue. A more extended procedure I use a Speculum to keep their mouth open. As well as a shot of "Happy Juice" IV. Floating or pulling teeth.
Yes, with over 38 years of working with livestock I have learned more than a few things about managing animals of most kind for medication.
BTY: Cooked Waffles this morning a few came out a little "Crispy"  the Goat Boy's liked them. Yes Hand fed. Smile
Dose the fact they liked Waffles mean the a Belgian Goats?  Big Grin
Happy Trails
