I'm not surprised. Most the time, a goat is more likely to show aggression on his home territory. This was the issue we struggled with for years with our goat Cuzco. He was very aggressive with strangers when he was at home, but he rarely caused problems with anyone (even kids) if we were out on the trail. Cuzco's bad habits were established when he was young and we were never able to eliminate them in his adulthood (although I found creative ways to manage him through the years). I think if you can get a handle on this dominance issue while your goats are still in their development years, they shouldn't fall into bad habits when they are older.
