Thanks alot.  I hope so.  That would be 110 or 120 pounds of gear and food.  Pretty awesome!!!

Haha! Well, today was interesting. We're changing our auto and homeowners insurance carrier and the new agent came out to look at our house, take some measurements, and snap a few pictures for his underwriter. To see the goats crowding around his car, you'd think he was there to visit THEM! He had a full entourage as he walked around the house with his measuring stick. Considering their level of interest, it looked like the goats thought a one-man traveling circus had showed up for their entertainment and was sure to put on a spectacular show at any moment. TinCup begged eat some of the papers from the notebook he was carrying.

The man came into the house for a few minutes to discuss some policy details and as he exited the front porch, Coral took the opportunity to sneak in through the porch gate. She was thrilled to be up on the deck and spent quite a lot of time strutting up and down in view of the other goats below. I let her enjoy some time up there before escorting her back down. Only a few minutes later, there was a tremendous crash of hooves as Finn made a flying leap over the porch gate and onto the stairs. He was clearly showing off to the exciting new stranger on his territory, and he was also reminding me that he's only good because he wants to be good. If Finn wants on the porch, no piddly little gate is going to stop him!

Luckily our new insurance agent left without having to file any claims for goat damage to his car. They contented themselves with licking the sides and no one tried to climb on it or eat the windshield wipers or use it to sharpen their horns.

Great story!  Here is what my car looks like when my goats get done licking it, I think it's pretty artistic:  Big Grin

Oh my goodness - I hope they don't use their teeth at all!

Guessing they were licking it cause of the salt on the roads? Might be a good idea to get them a bag of salt Smile

Ours have plenty of free choice salt and minerals but they still do lick the salt off the cars. Probably because it's "different" salt. This salt tastes like old tires and auto paint--Yum!!

It was a beautiful sunny day today so the boys and I went for a walk.  They enjoyed browsing on the wild blackberries and other goodies in the tree row.  (l to r) Bourbon, Jethro, Little Man.

Yummy!
I took the kids to Bridle Trails State Park today. Ruby was compliant but slow. Max was a PAIN. It wasn't until I turned onto a trail we'd never used before that he got with the program. I think he was bored.
