2017 recap
#1
Well I have learned a lot in 1.5 years, but still a lot of work to do. Looking forward to my young guys getting some age as well.

This year one of my goals was met bringing out a bull in one trip with just me and the big goats, a spike in early September. Went out for another week taking friends and got snowed out, but still a good time.

Went out for another week in October and we had all kinds of weather, snow and wind and cold. I was worried about the goats but they handled it fine. My buddy got a Muley on that trip and the goats got more experience. Can’t wait for more.

Congratulations on getting your elk and deer! What great photos. Thanks for sharing! Looks like your goats really helped out. You've got a nice pack string there.

Congratulations on the deer and elk! I'll bet it was great having the goats haul the game out! I love how they gathered around you while you were spotting. What goat coats are you using? They look like they fit well.

Thanks Taffy

The coats are from northwest pack goats and they work well. I have a small fortune in coats as I got both fleece lined and  nylon lined for all 8 goats.

Did you notice notice how big Kalvin is? 34” at shoulder and 170lbs. Him and Morgan are 3rd and 4th in the hiking line up. They are both doing really well, I am anxious to see how they grow through spring.

I like that the coats from NW packgoats are water proof.

My plans for next year are to get out for more scouting trips and more overnight trips for the goats. Also hoping for a mature bull and buck for the guys to pack out.
Four of the goats are young so excited to see how they grow.
Also really excited to be getting two more kids from Dwite in June.
